It's anonymous and all confidential...

Contact us on 0487 984 649 or email edrs@sph.uq.edu.au

You don't have to use your real name

We would like to interview people who are current, regular users of ecstasy and/or other illicit psychoactive substances/stimulants including MDA, methamphetamine, cocaine, ketamine, GHB, LSD, and other newer substances such as 2CI/2CB/2CE and NBOMe.

Interviews generally take place in a cafe over a cup of coffee, and at completion you receive $40 cash for your time and expenses. The interviewer asks questions about your use of drugs; the price, purity and availability of these drugs; and other health and well-being questions relating to your drug use. You need to allow about one hour.

The interviews are part of the Ecstasy and Related Drugs System (EDRS), which is a drug monitoring study funded by the Department of Heath, and undertaken each year in every capital city of Australia. The Health Department uses the results to try and predict what they may need to offer in terms of treatment and education in the future. The results also identify emerging trends that require further investigation.
